Jibóia was seeded in 2018 in the Global South, emerging from Verônica Veloso’s experiences and trajectory within the nonprofit and philanthropic ecosystem, with a focus on feminism, anti-racism, and socio-environmental justice.
This journey, woven in dialogue with movements, funds, and organizations, rooted living methodologies grounded in participation, care, and the redistribution of resources as a practice of justice. Jibóia grows from this soil as both continuity and collective unfolding: it carries the memory of that path and today affirms its own body, capable of moving with autonomy.
From 2024 onwards, Jibóia gains a name and consolidates itself as a consultancy, continuing to strengthen its relationships and expand bridges that allow dialogues, learnings, collective resources, and shared possibilities to flourish.
